Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all accompaniment and guidance provided by Klar gesehen, Aline Müller-Dagan, Kientzheimer Str. 2A, 79238 Ehrenkirchen, Germany ("Klar gesehen"), to families as consumers.

2. The service

Klar gesehen accompanies families with young children — usually at home, in the Basel area. Content, scope and course of the work are agreed individually before it begins. The accompaniment is not psychotherapy or medical treatment; it does not replace medical, therapeutic or official help. No particular outcome is owed — what is owed is careful, professionally grounded support.

3. Conclusion of contract

After a first conversation, the family receives a concrete offer (scope, dates, price). The contract is concluded when the family accepts the offer — confirmation in text form (e-mail or messenger) is sufficient.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are agreed in Swiss francs (CHF). In accordance with § 19 of the German VAT Act (small-business scheme), no VAT is charged. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days without deduction.

5. Appointments, rescheduling, ending early

Agreed home visits can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. If cancelled later, or in case of absence, the visit counts as held; in genuine hardship (such as sudden illness in the family) a fair solution will be sought. If an agreed accompaniment with several visits is ended early, visits already paid for but not yet held are refunded pro rata.

6. Right of withdrawal

If the contract is concluded entirely at a distance (for example by e-mail or messenger), consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. No particular form is required — an e-mail to [email protected] is enough. If, at the family's express request, the accompaniment begins before the withdrawal period ends, the value of the services provided up to the withdrawal is payable pro rata.

7. Confidentiality

What is seen and discussed within a family stays there. Klar gesehen treats all information from the accompaniment as strictly confidential and does not pass it on to third parties unless legally required to do so.

8. Cooperation

The work depends on openness. The family provides the agreed conditions for the home visits and shares circumstances that are essential for the accompaniment.

9. Liability

Klar gesehen is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In cases of ordinary negligence, liability exists only for the breach of essential contractual obligations and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Any further liability is excluded.

10. Family Scholarship

Taking part in the monthly Family Scholarship draw is free of charge and independent of any booking. There is no entitlement to a scholarship; the details are set out on the Family Scholarship page.

11. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory protective provisions of the state in which the family habitually resides (such as Switzerland) remain unaffected. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
